Maple

 Our Maple has such pretty colors, next to it our crooked Apple tree that needs some trimming this fall...

Identify please

This is a small tree growing in my woods , there are others like it but I never have seen a trunk with "tiger stripes" does anyone know what kind of tree this is? I wish I would have saved a leaf - maybe I'll go out again this week and see if there is a lonely one left on one of them:)
